Where does the notion come from that godliness leads to a smooth, clean, flat road?
Why do we think it leads to a path of peace and honor?
Not from the road You traveled, Lord Jesus.
Prepare and encourage my soul, oh Lord Jesus, to follow Your thorny path of faith and obedience.
