“Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.” — 1 Corinthians 7:20
One of the devil’s great strategies is to create and stir up within us discontent. Often God places us where we can be blessed and thrive, and yet we run head long into difficulties. Instead of recognizing the difficulty confronting me is intended to develop and mature my faith, I seek escape. Rather than fight the good fight of faith and overcome and prosper where He has me, I seek comfort through discontented release from my circumstances. We would be wise to move slowly and cautiously from the place of His blessing.
