“A certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto Him, Blessed is the womb that bare Thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But He said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.” — Luke 11:27, 28
You’re as close to Jesus as you choose to be, and as close to Him as you want to be. No one and nothing keeps us from Him, except, perhaps, ourselves. He gives no special access to Himself, one over another, nor does He keep any of His redeemed at an arms distance over another.
