SPURGEON: APRIL 5 MORNING DEVOTION
Does being fully accepted by God for Jesus sake not lift your heart? Does having a perfectly guiltless, righteous standing before the throne of God not fill you with hope and gratitude? Does your unbroken access to your heavenly Father’s throne and heart not elevate your spirit? We all grow dull, at times, to the wonder of God’s grace. Sometimes, we simply need to remember what the alternative is- what we really deserve vss. what we eternally have. I’m always glad for what I have been mercifully spared.
