SPURGEON: APRIL 13 EVENING DEVOTION
It is good to trust in Jesus for our eternal salvation. How glorious that He is so much more to us. ALL of our burdens, guilt, sorrows, shame, fears, anxieties, needs, hopes – all of our everything can be committed to Him, cast upon Him, submitted to Him, and He will ALWAYS do what is best and right for us. We can lead ALL of the weight of our souls upon Him, and He has promised to never fail us. “Cast your cares upon Him, for He careth for you.” Lord, thank You today for Your infinite love and care for me. Help me to cast all of my cares, anxieties, sorrows, needs, and hopes upon You today. Help me today, Lord Jesus, to walk in faith, and to trust in Your love and wisdom.
