April 10: Where is my help, Lord?

SPURGEON APRIL 10: EVENING DEVOTION

Rest assured, troubled saint, when the time comes that we truly need God’s help, He will provide it. When the burdens become too heavy to bear, when the sorrows grow too deep, when the anxieties multiply beyond our capacity, our heavenly Father will send the needed help, comfort, and assistance. Until then, we can rest, knowing His watchful eye is upon us, His hand is on the thermostat, and He is ever mindful of our weakness, breaking points, and limitations. If He has not yet sent me the requested help, it is because He knows better than I when it should be given. God is faithful, and He’s always aware of His children’s needs, sorrows, and sufferings. If your assistance hasn’t come yet, rely on your Father’s tender heart towards you until the requested help arrives.
